I have been in involved in
ultralight and light experimental aircraft since 1990. Having earned a
Private Pilots license in 1990, I have amassed more than 700 hours
flying in 15 different types of aircraft. Having personally assisted
more than 90 aircraft assemblies ranging from Challengers, Buccaneer SX/B2B,
Aventura UL/HP/II, Flightstar II, Searey, Zephyr II, Sabre I & II, Sky Ranger,
Merlin GT, & AeroComp aircraft
kits.
In the past I have worked
for three aircraft kit factories: Keuthan Aircraft (Bucaneer), Arnet
Pereyra (Aventura), and AeroComp Inc. (CompMonster). My role with the
Keuthan Aircraft and Arnet Pereyra companies was aircraft parts production, aircraft construction,
demo flights at the factory and at airshows, and builder technical
support.
Recreational Mobility was
formed in late 1998 as an independent dealer for the Aventura line of
kits outside of the factory. It really didn't take long for things to
blossom, and before I knew it I had customers asking for props,
parachutes, radios, helmets, etc...At that point we were on a mission,
to develop an online presence where customers could find the information
they were looking for regarding products they were interested in. Since
then, our company lineup has grown to include numerous aircraft lines,
the online Internet store, a walk-in retail store, and a Rotax Repair Station.
Recreational Mobility has
served customers from all over the U.S. and the world; including Panama, Germany,
Italy, Argentina, The Netherlands, Brazil, Czech Republic, and
Switzerland to name a few.
Two years ago we expanded into a new facility. This facility allows enough room for
working on two aircraft within the shop area, and a walk-in retail
store. If your in the area, stop by for a visit...Jim
